Menu & Dining

Breakfast

Breakfast here is a very special occasion, taken in the farmhouse dining room, or under the vine clad pergola in the warmer months.

Local Suffolk black back bacon & Great Great Grandma’s Ye Olde Suffolk Recipe pork sausages feature amongst our own free range farm eggs, home-made breads, jams and marmalade. Fresh fruit & cereals – or porridge if you prefer – nothing is too much trouble.

Dinner & Provenance

As a caterer Louise’s fabulous set dinner will not disappoint & you will not leave hungry! There is the added bonus that there is no need to take the car out!

Louise sources all her ingredients locally & everything is as seasonal as possible.

All our jams & chutneys are home-made with our own orchard fruits, particularly our Bramley apples, Victoria
plums & damsons.

We offer home made breads, home grown fresh fruits & our own elderflower cordial.

We have our own pedigree Kerry Hills lambs here at Laurel Bank Farm, game is from next door, rare breed Red Poll beef from our friend down the road at Barrow & Great Great Grandma’s Ye Olde Suffolk recipe pork sausages.

Louise makes regular visits to the North Norfolk Coast for Blakeney crabs & lobsters, Morston mussels & Cley smoked fish. She will often collect Norfolk cheeses from Mrs Temples Cheeses near Wells-next-the-sea. Other fresh fish comes from our friendly fish van direct from Lowestoft which can be found in Clare on Friday mornings or Depden Farm Shop on Friday afternoons.

Louise is registered with St Edmundsbury Borough Council Food Standards Agency with the maximum hygiene rating of 5/5.

Picnic hampers can be freshly prepared upon request.
